Just as the word Spanglish is the joining of two separate words, the First Annual Spanglish Christian Festival is the joining of two separate cultures!

In America today there is a beautiful mix of cultures, it is now more than ever the melting pot! In more recent years we have seen the Latino culture grow from Puerto Ricans in New York, Mexicans in Texas to Cubans in Florida. With this growth we have seen some necessary changes in our communities, like Spanish descriptions on many of the products that we buy.

Due to the increase of the Latino community there have been a lot of people overwhelmed with some of the changes. Now more than ever is a time to embrace these changes and our differences, instead of fighting against them, to build stronger communities. There is so much that each of us can learn from one another so instead of being divided as a nation we will be united as one!

When we come together as one united force, then and only then can we make a difference in our communities, our county and the world!
